Welcome to the coverage of Day 2 of the second and final Test between India and West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday.

Having dominated with the bat on Day 1, India will be aiming to continue in the same vein and post a huge total on the second day.

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal struck an unbeaten century -- stroking 173 from 253 balls -- to power India to 318/2 in 90 overs on the opening day.

Captain Shubman Gill, who was unbeaten on 20 at the break, as India made most of batting first on a good wicket.

Sai Sudharsan made a composed 87 as he missed out on a deserved maiden Test century.

In a stand of 193 for the second wicket between the two 23-year-olds, Sudharsan was able to show his true potential and also justify the Indian team management's decision to persist with him as the long-term number three in the Test line-up.

Spinner Jomel Warrican claimed both wickets to fall on the opening day -- getting K L Rahul caught behind for 38 before he got Sudharsan leg before wicket for 87.
