Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar is holding consultations with the representatives of government and political parties to take a decision on whether to go ahead with impeachment of Justice Soumitra Sen in Lok Sabha.
"I have to consult because there have been new developments. I will be talking (to political parties and government)," Kumar told media persons outside Parliament before the House began.
Asked whether an all-party meeting will be called to discuss the issue, she said nothing was scheduled but she will be talking.
Meanwhile, a senior Union Minister has indicated that the impeachment was unlikely as the judge has already resigned.
