This film by Kamal should be termed one of the most honest films he has made. Like he himself said to rediff in an interview, it is a film made with least compromises. And, this sincerity shows in its content, presentation and performances.
Mammootty as a poor Tamilian who ekes out a living ironing clothes in a rich locality is superb.
