'I particularly like the Indian market'

September 26, 2008

What are the other markets you are looking at?

Japan and Latin America could be good markets. We already have a presence in Japan, where we work with a customer. We have a very small footprint in Australia.

With Singapore as a hub (for non- Japanese market), we believe we will be able to drive all of our APAC business.

We are also targeting the Middle East and West Asia markets, though we will not set up delivery facilities there.

Also, I particularly like the Indian market. We are doing very well here and have got several marquee customers in India.

Which is the most exciting market for you?

Excitement can be classified in two ways. One is economic excitement, which is going out there. And that is a good reason to become excited.

If I put only economic excitement, I may be giving you a very short-term view. From a pure economic point of view, Europe as a market is exciting for us. I spend a lot more time in Europe. We have lot more activity going on in Europe than ever before.

As a company, excitement can come not just from the market and revenue, but from the 'field to be in' as well. We believe 'green consulting' services could be a fantastic opportunity. We are currently working with two customers on this front.

Green services as a total solution is an exciting area for us. I believe we can lead the world, especially because Indians are 'survivors with limited resources.' You will hear about us more in the green space as years go by.
