So what you are going to do is not exactly outsourcing. You are going to cater to the European market employing local people.
We are located at the low-cost places, but the customers are from high cost places like Paris, Bonn, etc. So, it is internal offshoring.
How many customers do you have there at the new facility in Poland?
We have three European customers from the United Kingdom, Germany and France in the Poland facility currently and we are in talks with a couple of others.
We have about 60+ people there and expect to grow to over 100 in the next 4-6 months.
How cost effective is it going to be for your customers in Europe because you support them and not a local company?
First, instead of having a support office in Paris or Bonn or Frankfurt, the office is in a small town. That will save around 30 per cent.
Second piece of savings comes from the fact that our managers have been trained in Chennai and are equipped to deliver higher productivity.
The intellectual property and training are all in India, only delivery is there, and that is mainly because of language.
