Cricket Ganesha bats, bowls and fields for Team India

It was when he found that the right-handed Ganesha (with a bat in his right hand) was helping only right-handed batsmen that he installed a left-handed Ganesha with a bat in his hand.
During the last world cup he installed an 11-headed Cricket Ganesha with the trunk pointing to both left and right so that he helped both left-handers and right-handers.
"I have kept him on the pedestal of Sun God so that the rain God never plays spoilsport when a match is on. I would say that Cricket Ganesha was so satisfied with the new image that he helped the Indian team reach the finals of the World Cup 2003," said Ramakrishnan.
