Santosh, Yashas qualify for 400m hurdles final

India's Santhosh Kumar Tamilarasan qualified for the men's 400m hurdles final, after finishing second in Heat 1 with a timing of 49.28. Qatar's Abderrahman Alsaleck, who finished first in the heat with 49.12 also qualified for the final.

Another Indian Yashas Palaksha also made it to the final after finishing second in Heat 3 with 49.61 behind Qatar's Bassem Hemeida.

Meanwhile, India's Mohammed Afsal P took top place in the men's 800m heat to qualify for the final alongside compatriot Krishan Kumar, who also advanced to the final after taking second place in Heat 3.
