Parul wins 3000m silver

Two Indians in action in the women's Long Jump final with Ancy Sojan and Shaili Singh ready to put in the work.
And after three attempts, Ancy is in the 2nd spot while Shaili is in 5th.
Ancy jumped to equal her personal best of 6.56 metres in the 3rd attempt.
In her 4th attempt, Shaili Singh jumps 6.31m while Ancy jumped 6.30m.
Shaili jumps to 6.48 in her 5th attempt to stay in 5th spot.
Ancy all pumped up before her 5th jump and leaps 6.63ms, her personal best, to stay in contention for a silver.
Shaili Singh jumps to 6.23m to finish at 5th spot.
Ancy Sojan's last jump in invalid but she manages to get the 2nd spot and the silver for India in long jump.
In the Men's 200m final, India's Amlan Borgohain finishes 6th.
He clocks a timing of 20.98s.
In Women's Pole Vault, Indian Pavithra Vengatesh is outof the medal race as she is unable to clear 4.10m mark in 3 attempts.
Earlier, India's Parul Chaudhary won a silver medal while Priti pocketed bronze in the in 3000m SC.
Chaudhary clocked 9:27.63 while Priti completed the race in 9:43.32.
