The Italian forward, who scored 26 goals for Bayern Munich in his first season (after his transfer from Fiorentina), has failed to find the net in this tournament. Sunday was no different, as he remained chances galore, but the goal remained elusive even as his tournament got over after Italy's shootout exit.
Toni ended up as one of the biggest disappointments of the tournament.
