Dipika, who is mostly in Egypt training under current coach Amer Wagih, is a student of the Lady Andal school in Chennai.
"My school has been very supportive; I come here only for my exams."
Despite hardly any attendance, Dipika, who is sponsored by the LN Mittal Group, scored over 70 per cent in the Secondary School Certificate examinations.
Having also appeared in a few advertisements and making quite a hit, Tamil film producers are now knocking on her doors.
"As long as it doesn't interfere with my squash or my fitness I don't mind a few ads," she says.
