The 2007 French Open - Day 2
May 29, 2007
In a rain-postponed first round match, China's top player Na Li beat Sandra Kloesel of Germany 7-6(4), 6-0.
The 16th seed got off to a slow start, trailing 3-love in the first set, before she really warmed to the occasion and brought things level at 3-all.
But Kloesel then extended her lead to 5-3 when the rain came back. The break obviously helped Na Li, who recovered to take the first set on a tiebreak. The Chinese then whitewashed her opponent in the second set 6-love to take the match.
