Guillermo Canas, who shocked world number one Roger Federer with a fourth round upset, booked his spot in the semis with straight sets victory.
Canas battled past Spanish sixth seed Tommy Robredo 7-6 6-1 to set up a clash with Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic for a place in the final.
Britain's Andy Murray and Serb teenager Novak Djokovic complete the semi-fina line-up.
