No.13 seed Ana Ivanovic was handed a 6-1, 6-2 drubbing by Russian Vera Zvonareva on Saturday.
The match, which was moved from Margaret Court Arena to Rod Laver Arena because of the rain, lasted only 51 minutes as the Russian No.22 seed made short work of her Serbian opponent.
