India failed to gain maximum points from the lung-opener as Hong Kong equalised in added time to draw 1-1.
After a slow game India suddenly upped the stakes in their clash when in the 89th minute Papachan fired an incredible shot from more than 30 metres out to power the ball just over the 'keeper's head.
