One of the reasons why France made it to the finals, Makelele was one of the French superstars who came out of retirement to help his country qualify for the World Cup.
And if the 33-year-old Frenchman's performance in the Premier League is anywhere as inspired as it was in the World Cup, the Chelsea fans will be making a lot of makelele -- which, in Swahili, means a loud noise.
