Belgian Christophe Rochus ousted French Open Champion Gaston Gaudio 2-6 7-5 6-3 in the third round.
World number 68 Rochus, who had to qualify for the event, will face Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela in the quarter-finals on Friday.
