Australian Open - Day 3
Andre Agassi acknowledges the applause from the crowd after thrashing Germany's Rainer Schuettler 6-3, 6-1, 6-0 at the Rod Laver Arena to progress into the third round.
The seasoned American, who at 34 is the oldest man in the singles draw, raced to victory in less than an hour-and-a-half in a replay of his straight sets win over Schuettler in the 2003 Australian Open final.
Agassi showed off his full repertoire of skills and played just one false shot in the entire third set, which he wrapped up in 18 minutes.
He brushed past German qualifier Dieter Kindlmann 6-4, 6-3, 6-0 in the first round on Monday.
On the previous occasions when he won the Open (1995, 2000, 2001, 2003) Agassi passed into the third round without dropping a set.
