Australian Open 1995 The year 1995 saw Andre Agassi winning the first of his three Australian Open titles. He had beaten Rafter, Kafelnikov and Krickstein to set up a final with fellow American Pete Sampras. He beat Pete Sampras 4-6, 6-1, 7-6, 6-4 to win the Australian Open Championship that year.
