Vehicle accident claims 5 NSG commandoes, injures 32

At least five National Security Guards personnel were killed and 32 injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a 200-metre deep nallah at Zig-More on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Monday afternoon.

The vehicle carrying 37 personnel was going from Jammu to Kashmir when the mishap occurred. Official sources said the toll could be much higher. Five dead bodies have been recovered so far.

In another accident, one was killed and three injured at Banihal on the same highway.
