30 killed in Bihar bus mishap

At least 30 people were killed and many injured in a collision between two buses at Lathura village in Araria district on Friday. Official sources said the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

Sources said the accident occurred due to the bad condition of the roads and the negligence of one of the drivers. Most of the deceased were from Araria and Kishanganj. One of the ill-fated buses was going from Dighabank to Purnia and the other from Patna to Bahadurganj.
