40 feared killed as bus plunges into AP stream

At least 40 people were drowned when an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus, in which they were travelling, plunged into a flooded stream off Beechpally bridge in Mahabubnagar district on Friday.

The police said four people, including the bus driver, swam to safety. The ill-fated bus was on its way to Hyderabad from Kurnool.
