CRPF constable guns down superior

A Central Reserve Police Force constable gunned down his company commander Jaswant Singh and shot at a colleague at a camp at Borakha in west Tripura on Wednesday.

The police said the accused jawan escaped from the camp with an AK-47 rifle, a self-loading rifle and a live grenade. He, was, however, nabbed by CRPF personnel of a nearby camp.

On September 20, a CRPF policeman shot dead one of his colleagues and injured another at a camp at Radhapur in west Tripura.
