4 militants killed in Kashmir

The Border Security Force killed four militants in a fierce encounter at Lal Bazaar on the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday.

Official sources said a BSF team rushed to the spot after a Jammu and Kashmir police party was attacked by militants with automatic weapons.

The militants also attacked the BSF personnel and lobbed several hand grenades.

The BSF personnel retaliated, killing four militants. One BSF personnel was critically wounded.
