Pak firing kills armyman in Kashmir

An army subedar was killed when Pakistani troops fired on Indian positions in Kashmir's Keran sector on Friday evening.

The Indian troops also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for some time, a defence spokesman said. Casualties on the Pak side are not known.

Pakistani troops have been firing on Indian positions in Keran, Kargil, Karnah, Uri and Tangdar sectors for the past month, resulting in the death of several civilians and army personnel.
