Two former PMs to attend Kshatriya meet
Two former prime ministers -- V P Singh and Chandra Shekhar -- and several chief ministers will be among the 200,000 people who will gather in New Delhi for the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha's centenary celebrations on October 19.
Mahasabha president and former Union minister Digvijay Singh said on Wednesday that a ''charter'' will be proclaimed at the meeting to highlight the importance of kshatriya principles in today's world.
A representation will be made to the government against the existing ''discrimination'' between castes in jobs and educational facilities, he added.
Singh said the Mahasabha was a non-political, non-communal organisation.
