Another lockout in Bihar secretariat
The two-week-old Bihar government staff agitation saw the second lockout on Monday, paralysing the administration.
The employees surrounded the secretariat on Tuesday, demanding
20 per cent interim relief. The agitators had not been given their salaries.
Meanwhile, the leaders of all the six federations, who have been on strike, have threatened a mass agitation. The leaders asked the employees to continue their agitation and boycott the secretariat when it reopens after the puja vacation.
