Hearing on Laloo's bail plea adjourned

The hearing on the anticipatory bail petitions of Bihar Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav, his two cabinet colleagues and a former Union minister in the Rs 9.5 billion fodder scam was again adjourned till Wednesday.

Laloo Yadav's counsel Rajendra Singh said there was no evidence that the Bihar CM had received any gratification from the scamsters and he was implicated in the case merely on surmises and conjectures.

Singh said Laloo Yadav had always co-operated with the investigating agency and supplied every document which was demanded by the CBI.
