Naxalites kill 8 in Bihar

A group of naxalites killed eight people by throwing them into the Badhua dam reservoir under the Belhar police station of Bihar's Banka district on Monday.

Official sources said in Banka on Tuesday that the naxalities threw 11 people into the waters after tying their arms. While eight of them died, three managed to swim ashore.

Seven bodies have been fished out so far with the help of divers. The deceased included the son of a former member of the legislative assembly, Chandramuleshwar Singh.
