Trial court proceedings against Sharad Yadav stayed

The Delhi high court on Friday stayed the trial court proceedings in the hawala scam against Janata Dal president Sharad Yadav.

Passing this order, Justice Jaspal Singh adjourned to November 10 the hearing on Yadav's criminal revision petition. The plea challenged the trial court's decision to frame charges against him.

The case has been adjourned as a special leave petition in the matter is pending before the Supreme Court.
