India, Pakistan and Bangladesh summit in November
The prime ministers of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are scheduled to meet in Dhaka in November to discuss ways of improving economic ties between their countries.
Dhaka is already in touch with New Delhi and Islamabad to finalise a date for the meeting, an Indian foreign ministry official said on Thursday.
The official said both Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharief have agreed to attend the meeting.
Dhaka is also trying to host a meeting of the region's businessmen and industrialists around the same time.
