Bodos release tea plantation manager

Abducted tea plantation executive Parimal Kumar Choudhury was released on Tuesday after being held hostage near the Indo-Bhutan border for nearly a month.

According to official sources, Choudhury, manager of the Menoka Tea plantation was kidnapped by National Democratic Front of Bodoland activists on July 29 from the tea garden in Nalbari district.

Choudhury was released in the early hours near the border, 17 km from the Daramga outpost, where he was found later by the police.
