CPI-M leader shot dead in Tripura

Terrorists shot dead a prominent Communist Party of India-Marxist tribal leader at Khereng Para under Belonia sub division in south Tripura on Thursday night.

The police in Agartala said on Friday that rebels of the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura raided the house of Gandhi Mani Tripura and shot him dead.

Security forces have launched a combing operation to nab the rebels but no one has been arrested yet.
