Bihar minister escapes bid on life
Bihar Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering Department Girinath Singh escaped a bid on his life on Monday night when suspected militants opened fire on his convoy in Garwha district.
However, his cousin was killed and six others were seriously injured in the attack, the police said.

said the injured have been admitted to the Garwha hospital.
Natarajan said the incident occurred when Singh was returning after attending a felicitation at Jamuniyakhand village under the Ranka police station.
