Mamata's 'Trinamul Congress' gets 116-member panel

Firebrand Congress MP Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced the formation of a 116-member steering committee for her parallel ''Trinamul Congress''.

Banerjee said her party will launch several agitations, including a ''Bangla bachao'' movement in December.

West Bengal legislator and state Trinamul Congress president Pankaj Banerjee indicated that the organisation might seek support from different political parties to fight the Communist Party of India-Marxist in the state.
