Rajdhani Express derails at Mansi

All 12 coaches of the 2424 Down New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express derailed at Mansi railway station in the Barauni-Katihar division of the North-Eastern railway at 11.20 am on Wednesday. There were no casualties, a NER spokesperson said.

Passengers were accommodated in the 5610 Down Delhi-Guwahati Avadh Assam Express which left Mansi station two hours after the accident.

Senior railway officials from Gorakhpur, Sonpur and Barauni have reached the accident site. Movement of trains was not seriously affected. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
