Mangalore limping back to normal
September 16, 2008
Mangalore, which has been rocked by violence for the past two days, limped back to normal on Tuesday barring minor incidents of violence in the outskirts of the city. Most people stayed off the roads on Tuesday in anticipation of violence and also due to the bundh call by the Srirama Sena.
Buses and other modes of public transport did not ply on the roads as a precautionary measure. School, colleges and other establishments also remained shut thus giving the city a deserted look.
