Newspaper puppetry

Striking puppetry, put together by a team headed by Julian Crouch (of London theatre company Improbable) and Skills Ensemble, are used to shed light on the influences of Mahatma's early years.
These giant puppets, crafted from kite rods and newspaper over many months and introduced in act two, symbolise the venal powers of society that Gandhi disliked.
