She is probably the only British First Lady to have had a 'lifestyle guru' -- the disgraced Carole Caplin.
The British first couple has also rubbed shoulders with the British fashion fraternity.
The 51-year-old Cherie Blair is probably the only world leader to have been photographed in a sari.
But the reason she endears herself to us is because of the painting 'Striding Nude, Blue Dress', which should become public when Tony Blair steps down as British prime minister in a few weeks.
The painting shows Cherie, then 24 years old, striding forward, naked but for a little blue dress. Naturally Blair is deeply embarrassed about it, and has pulled strings to have it under wraps till he is in office.
