Lyudmila Putina, the wife of the man who's started giving the West the Cold War heebie-jeebies, is, like Cecilia Sarkozy, 49 years old.
But there the similarity ends, sartorial and otherwise.
A linguist, she speaks German, Spanish and French that we know of.
Among the sports she enjoys are tennis and downhill skiing. In the arts she is interested in theatre and music.
Vladimir Putin and have been married for 24 years now.
Putina said in an interview that she follows her own understanding of beauty, fashion and style, and that she gets things made for her in Russia, as well as readymade clothes. 'I scarcely follow fashion, ' she has said.
