He says: the Bangladesh Hindu Mandir, New York, organises Durga Puja every year. This year it took place at Queens Boulevard. It's a great joy to visit this community during Durga Puja, who keep up the spirit of Ma Durga even during difficult times in Bangladesh.

We visit this puja every year, for the last five years, because it follows the rituals according to the scriptures.

The bonus has been the cultural programme every evening hosted by local singers, dancers, who do a great job in maintaining their culture. The Durga was outsourced from Calcutta.

You can see my daughter Bhaswati at the pandal. Priest Swapan Chatterjee is in the background performing puspanjali. I would like to salute the Bangladesh Hindu community for organising such a great puja.
