Ram, roti aur Uma

While addressing the rally, Uma Bharati said that the dispute over the Ramjanmabhoomi site at Ayodhya was a matter of faith and belief, adding that it was only because of Hinduism that India was a secular country.

Earlier too, during the yatra, she had said, "We should all unite for restoring Bharat Mata's glory. The BJP, which ascended to its peak of popularity in the name of Lord Ram, digressed from basic ideology. Ram is this country's prestige and roti [food] is our necessity."
