Ram, roti aur Uma

Firebrand ex-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti is in high spirits. She is happy with the kind of response from people while on her Ram Roti Yatra, which she undertook after being expelled from the BJP.

Known for her rebel ways and ambitious streak, Bharti took the fight against the BJP to the Janata Darbar. She undertook several campaigns in parts of north India to garner support.

On March 11, she staged a mammoth rally in New Delhi to demonstrate her strength, adding that she would launch her party on April 30.
