Son of deceased Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Pramod Mahajan, Rahul Mahajan was on Friday admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi for suspected poisoning. His condition continues to be critical and he has been put on life support system. The next 24 hours are critical for his health, Dr Nirmal Surya, his family physician, told reporters at the hospital. He claimed that Rahul did not show any symptom of drug overdose.The Mahajan family is in a state of shock after hearing the news of Rahul's condition, almost a month after his father Pramod Mahajan passed away.
Late Pramod Mahajan's secretary Vivek Maitra was also present with Rahul. Maitra however was declared dead at the hospital.
