These women run their countries

Luisa Diogo

Born in 1958, Luisa Dias Diogo was elected Prime Minister of Mozambique in February 2004, replacing Pascoal Mocumbi who had held the post for 9 years and becoming the country's first female PM.

She was Minister of Planning and Finance before being elected prime minister, and continues to hold both posts.
