Hu Jintao: Heckled in America
"He tells me what he thinks and I tell him what I think, and we do so with respect", Bush told reporters at the White House. It was a good -- if rather simple -- way of describing talks between the US and China, following the visit of the Chinese leader to Washington.
Even as President Hu Jintao was welcomed by President George W Bush, the visit drew several hundred banner-waving protesters, including a heckler from the Falun Gong spiritual movement who gained entry to the White House grounds as a member of the press corps.
