After a gap of 23 years, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party chief and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar shared a public platform in Mumbai on Wednesday, at the release of Thackeray's photobiography titled Bal Keshav Thackeray: The Photobiography.
Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Janata Dal (United) leader George Fernandes, film star Amitabh Bachchan, melody queen Lata Mangeshkar and historian Babasaheb Purandare were also present for the occasion held at the Gateway of India.
