Rahul Gandhi dedicates Amethi hospital to grandma Indira
On Sunday, the Nehru-Gandhi family was in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, for the inauguration of the Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital and Research Centre.
And, Mrs Paula Maino, mother of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and grandmother of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra, was present as well.
This was the second time in the recent past that the Nehru-Gandhi family -- Sonia, son Rahul Gandhi, daughter Priyanka and son-in-law Robert Vadra -- visited Amethi together. The last time was when Rahul filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha election in 2004.
