The 'India Shining' campaign aside, even the stars are shining upon the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Everyday for the past few days, the party has been announcing the induction of at least one known personality into the party enhancing its 'Feel Good' factor.
All the new entrants are stalwarts in their respective fields - be it actress Hema Malini, former cricket player Navjot Singh Sidhu or veteran politician Arif Mohammad Khan or someone like Laxman Singh who is straight from the enemy camp.
The Congress downplays the development but senior leaders are concerned about the impact, on the public, of famous faces jumping into the BJP bandwagon.
The popular joke in Congress circles is that there is a poster in front of BJP office that says: Trespassers will be recruited.
Says Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi: "There is no star left in the BJP. That is why it is recruiting new ones."
It is uncertain whether the newcomers will help BJP gain more votes but it has certainly boosted the party's image and adversely affected the morale of the Congress.
