The world famous Peace Boat dropped anchor in Mumbai port on Friday morning to coincide with the inauguration of the World Social Forum meet in the northern suburb of Goregaon.

Operated by a Tokyo-based NGO by the same name, it was conceived as a mobile, neutral, peace-making space, where peace education and NGO networking activities are organised.
