JD issues whip to defeat to no-trust motion

The ruling Janata Dal in Karnataka today issued a whip to its members to be present in the assembly on November 9 and 10when the no-confidence motion against the J H Patel government, now being debated, would be put to vote.

Government chief whip K Vasanth Bangera, who issued the whip, appealed to members to be present and vote against the motion.

Patel is likely to reply to the motion on either November 9 or 10, he added.
